Greetings, I am new to XWIS community.
I dl'ed TS Online Only, installed, and all is working i can connect and play games online.
My nick: Mytrix

Problem:
In game i expirience big slowdowns/lag problems. Especially when building structures / (less when units) and when there is a big amount of fireing units on the screen. (same thing was happening when i was playing single player missions and skirmish with game downloaded from another source)

My tech spec:
Windows 7 64 bit (on Hp notebook pavilion dv7 series)
ram - 3gb ddr2
processor - intel core 2 duo P7350 @ 2GHz
video card - nVidia GeForce 9600M GT
Using Kaspersky Internet Security

What i tried:
I looked around the forum, checked the search tool and Google but found no resolution.
I've only found scraches of info that slowdowns are built into the game and that it can be a 'when structures building slowdown bug'.
Tried to run the game with administrator rights and compability mode for win98 and win xp sp3.

Thanks in adivce for any help with that. Feel free to ask questions.

Create a shortcut for TS
Right click the shortcut, select properties
Go to compatibility tab
select win98, and click apply
click okay, and then try again.

(yes, I know you already wrote it)

Also, change your graphics bitrate to 16 bit
right click desktop, go to properties
select bitrate, and change it to 16 bit.

Thank You WhiteTib, it helped alot. I did both the shortcut and set graphics bitrate to 16 bit.

I just need to test it having few more games to say if the problem is resolved

Well I played some more games and it comes I am still the lagging one.

The performance improved but is still not fully playable ;/
